Meet Chelsia, MS CN
Hi, I’m Chelsia, a Certified Nutritionist and functional medicine practitioner with a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. At Bio Harmony, I combine evidence-based nutrition with a systems-based approach to understand what may be driving symptoms and help restore balance from the inside out.
My approach is rooted in both clinical science and personal experience because I’ve been in your shoes. I know how frustrating it can be to know something feels off but not have clear answers about why. Rather than looking at symptoms in isolation, I look at the bigger picture and connect the dots between your history, nutrition, lifestyle, environment, labs, and overall health.
I believe symptoms are often the body’s way of telling us something needs attention. Together, we’ll work to understand those signals, uncover underlying contributors, and create a personalized roadmap to help you feel better and support your long-term health.
My Story
I didn’t find functional medicine — it found me.
Like many of my clients, I spent years searching for answers to my own chronic health issues. I saw doctors, specialists, and wellness professionals who offered temporary fixes, but never addressed why I felt the way I did.
Eventually, I took matters into my own hands.
I dove into nutrition and functional medicine, uncovering how my habits, thoughts, and environment directly shaped my health. That’s when I realized true healing goes beyond symptom relief; it requires a deeper, whole-body approach.
Through that journey, I not only got my health back — I found my purpose.
After 15 years in corporate marketing, I returned to school to study nutrition and root-cause healing. Now, I combine formal training, personal experience, and clinical practice to help others restore their energy, clarity, and vitality.
What I Do
At Bio Harmony, our goal is to support your body’s innate ability to heal by addressing what’s really going on and bringing your biology back into balance—aka Bio Harmony.
I work with people who feel unheard, overlooked, or stuck. Whether you’re managing an autoimmune condition, struggling with hormone imbalances, dealing with digestive issues, or just not feeling like yourself, I help you reconnect to your body’s natural rhythm and restore balance.
- We don’t chase symptoms. We investigate the root cause.
- We don’t believe healing is linear. We walk with you every step of the way.
- We don’t do quick fixes. We build sustainable, data-informed plans tailored to your biology.

N of 1
Credentials matter, but my lived experience makes me deeply attuned to my clients’ experiences. I know what it’s like to feel dismissed, overwhelmed, or stuck in a body that doesn’t feel like yours.
In science, we call this an N-of-1: a single case study that can still reveal powerful truths. My own health journey has taken me through complex terrain, including mold exposure and Lyme disease, alongside other challenges that took years and a lot of persistence to fully understand. Navigating that process is exactly what shaped how I practice today.
I show up with empathy, curiosity, and a relentless drive to find what others have missed. Because I’ve needed that myself.
A Few Fun Facts

- I’m a concert addict, love getting my passport stamped, and exploring the outdoors on my boat with my husband and our two cats.
- I believe nutrition is the foundation of health, and food should be both nourishing and joyful.

Bio Harmony is a private-pay practice that does not accept insurance or provide superbills for reimbursement. This allows us to prioritize personalized, high-quality care without the limitations imposed by insurance networks.
Yes, I work with clients across the U.S. through virtual consultations. However, due to licensing regulations, these sessions are offered for educational and informational purposes only, not as medical nutrition therapy or treatment. I'm happy to collaborate with your local healthcare providers to ensure you receive the most comprehensive support.
I do not specialize in eating disorder treatment. If you are actively struggling with an eating disorder, I recommend working with a registered dietitian or mental health provider trained in that area. I’d be happy to offer a referral.
My approach focuses on root-cause healing, not restrictive dieting. While weight often shifts as the body heals, I do not offer services focused exclusively on weight loss as a goal.
At this time, I work exclusively with adults (18+).
If two people in the same household would like to work together, we can discuss options for joint or back-to-back sessions. Feel free to reach out to chat more.
